Carol Glanville is a West Michigan native. Before stepping into politics, she built a career in education serving as a teacher, administrator, and Ed Tech consultant. In addition,
Glanville has extensive experience serving on community boards
including Kent County Community Action as well as West Michigan
Trails.
After serving 3 years on the Walker City Commission, she was
called into action in the State Legislature in 2022. She flipped a
Republican held seat with a special election win in the spring of
2022.
Her ability to connect with voters on both sides of the aisle
with a message based on West Michigan values and deliver for her
District resulted in a win for the seat she holds today in the fall of
2022 in the new 84th District, which encompasses Grandville, Walker, and the Westside of Grand Rapids.
